What is Integrative Medicine? Integrative Medicine combines the best of conventional and alternative medicine. At this time, conventional medicine mainly utilizes drugs and surgery. We train doctors in chelation therapy, prolotherapy (reconstructive therapy), allergy treatments, nutritional IVs, cancer support and progressive medicine because we believe in providing you with options beyond what the current conventional system offers. Can you Help Me Find a Biological Dentist? Generally, our members are not dentists. However, the doctors in our group commonly work with the removal of heavy metals such as amalgam fillings. If you contact one of our members in your area, it is likely that they can refer you to a dentist who is familiar with the safe removal of amalgam.

Do Your Doctors Take Insurance? This varies completely from practice to practice. These days it is very risky for an integrative doctor to be part of an insurance plan, because mainstream insurance companies often don’t understand the treatments we apply, and can accuse us of mismanaging our patent’s healthcare.
How Can I Apply for Your College? We are not a University or College that teaches regular courses. Instead, our teaching happens at our bi-annual conferences. Our meetings are CME certified, and often provide CMU credits as well. Anyone can join us for these great learning sessions; just check our “Conferences” page to learn where the next one will be.
Do You Offer Financial Aid? We do have the “William Mitchell Scholarship Fund” that can offer free admission to our conferences for students. Just send a brief paragraph describing who you are and why you’d like to join us for the conference. It is likely that we can help fund your experience there. Can My Business Exhibit at an ICIM Conference? At each of our meetings we have an elaborate exhibit hall featuring many fine companies who can enhance our practice of medicine and offer us new knowledge and research. We accept exhibitor applications from anyone in the integrative medicine field, however we do not include multi-level marketing organizations.
